Changing a tap washer

This is what a tap washer looks like:







1. Turn off water supply to tap




2. Prise the cap off



3. Take the screw out



4. Hold the spout and remove the valve with a spanner

 

5. The removed valve

 

6. Take the screw out and change the washer

Repeat the above steps in reverse order

Job done.
